The Ford Bronco is Making a Triumphant Return!

At the 2017 Detroit Auto Show, Ford announced that the legendary Ford Bronco would be coming back, and speculation is growing that the newest version of the off-road king will debut at the same show in January. Of course, Ford wants to keep us all in suspense, but some details are starting to emerge through the automotive press.

Keep in mind that most of what we're sharing is speculation, but it does come from experts at Autotrader and Road & Track. Ford product head Joe Hinrichs has stated that the 2020 Bronco will be based on the 2019 Ford Ranger. We think that means it will likely share the Ranger's engine and transmission offerings, though there are rumors that the Bronco may replace the 10-speed automatic transmission with a manual transmission.

Since we expect that the Bronco will be available with a number of features that make it ideal for heading off-road, that manual transmission makes a great deal of sense -- even if it's just offered as an option for the more adventurous among us. Hopefully the Bronco will be offered in both two- and four-door bodies, allowing an even greater audience to enjoy its capabilities.

Contact us to speak with one of our team members and sign up to receive more information about the Ford Bronco as we get closer to its debut and introduction to America. We're sure that our Valdosta, Nashville GA, Ashburn GA, and Ocilla customers will be lining up at our Tifton showroom to take their test drive once the time comes!
