What are the Benefits of a Lincoln PHEV?
Convenient Charging
Charging is made easy when you drive a Lincoln PHEV. No matter which Lincoln plug-in hybrid you purchase or lease, you’ll receive a Lincoln Mobile Power Cord that’s capable of charging at 120 volts or 240 volts (with professional installation). Don’t forget to charge your ride overnight so that you can seamlessly embark on your morning commute.
Tax Credits
A lesser-known fact about select PHEVs is the federal and state tax incentives they may qualify for. It varies state to state, but the U.S. Department of Energy states that plug-in hybrids purchased in 2023 or later could be eligible for a federal income tax credit of up to $7,500. Sweeten your tax season — see if your PHEV qualifies for a sizable credit.

Lincoln Plug-in Hybrid FAQs
How and where do I charge my car?
Powerfully charge your PHEV, thanks to the Lincoln Mobile Power Cord that can electrify your ride up to 120 volts or 240 volts. Simply plug the cord into the charge port door, either overnight or for a few hours. A standard outlet located in your garage comes with a 120-volt adapter. If you don’t have a dedicated 240-volt outlet at your home, make sure to go to Qmerit.com to find convenient Level 2 installation services in your area.
On the go? You can seamlessly charge your Lincoln PHEV at your local public charging station. To locate one, you can use the Lincoln Way™ App to find the closest station. Since your PHEV will come with a portable cord, you can charge up your ride anywhere at any time as long as you find a compatible outlet. Don’t sweat it if you can’t find a charging station in time — your Lincoln PHEV will automatically switch to its gas engine.
What is the difference between Level 1 and Level 2 charging?
Level 1 charging has a standard 120-volt outlet that can charge your Lincoln PHEV — it’s the most popular charging option since many homes are already equipped with a 120-volt outlet. With this equipment, your ride will be fully charged in about 10-11 hours.
Level 2 charging is typically faster and uses a 240-volt outlet. Utilizing this, your Lincoln PHEV will be charged within a swift three to four hours. No matter which of our PHEV models you choose, the plug-in hybrid will come with a dual-voltage charging cord capable of charging at Level 1 and Level 2. However, keep in mind that a majority of homes require professional installation in order to use a Level 2 charging system.
What is regenerative braking?
Regenerative braking is one of the attributes that make Lincoln PHEVs so efficient. This technology captures energy that’s emitted from a vehicle’s braking system and redirects it back into the powertrain. This energy would have otherwise been lost, but now your Lincoln PHEV will benefit from it.
Does my Lincoln plug-in hybrid come with a warranty?
Absolutely — every new 2023 or 2024 Lincoln plug-in hybrid not only is armored with a 6-year/70,000-mile powertrain warranty and 4-year/50,000-mile bumper-to-bumper warranty, but the hybrid and electric components are also covered for eight years or 100,000 miles. What’s not to love? Make the eco-friendly switch today.
